Our Facility
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is located at The Family Medical Center in Wilmington. The facility offers free parking.
Hours of operation for the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program are:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 7:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
What to Expect
Our program is customized to fit each patient’s healthcare needs. You receive an individualized plan that includes structured therapeutic exercise and education. Our staff monitors your vital signs closely as you exercise. This helps you make steady, safe progress.
Most people participate in pulmonary rehabilitation two or three times a week, for 12 weeks.
Our experienced team works together to coordinate your care. Depending on your exact needs, your pulmonary rehab team may include:
- Exercise physiologist
- Medical director
- Pulmonologist
- Registered dietician
- Registered nurse
- Respiratory therapist

Most insurance plans cover the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program when you have a qualifying diagnosis. Please check with your insurance company regarding insurance and if you are required to pay a copayment.
