At Winchester Hospital, we expect every member of your care team to give you excellent care. Patient satisfaction is the best measure of our success.
After you receive care from us, you will be asked to rate us through an anonymous survey from Press Ganey. This national organization specializes in gathering patient satisfaction data.
We monitor patient satisfaction every day. We want to know how we can improve the care we deliver.
We are proud to be among the top-performing hospitals in Massachusetts and in the country. Winchester Hospital is ranked in the 99th percentile nationally for overall patient satisfaction with our emergency and outpatient services, as well as home care.
We recently ranked higher than state and national averages in these measures:
- Nurses “always” communicated well
- Doctors “always” communicated well
- Patient rating of 9 or 10 on a scale from 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest)
- Patients who would definitely recommend our hospital
Nominate an Exemplary Nurse
You can honor a nurse through our DAISY Award program. We participate in the DAISY Foundation, which recognizes nurses who combine excellent care with compassion and make a difference in the lives of patients and families.
To nominate a nurse, patients, visitors, employees or physicians can submit a DAISY Award nomination form.
