Specialized Pain and Spine Care To Get You Moving Again

Everyday life can be a challenge when you’re in pain. Whether it’s acute (meaning it comes on quickly) or chronic (long lasting), physical pain can make it hard to do the things you enjoy. It can even interfere with your work and keep you from spending time with the people you love.

The Pain and Spine Center at Winchester Hospital can help you take charge of your pain and get back to comfortably doing the things that matter most to you.

Our experienced board-certified anesthesiologists will direct your care with all the resources of Winchester Hospital behind them. We hold special certifications in pain management from the American Board of Anesthesiology and will work with you to find the best treatments for your unique situation.

How To Get Pain Management Care

You will need a referral from your doctor to get an appointment at the Pain and Spine Center. This referral will help us access key details about your health and develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. Simply download our Pain Management Referral Form and take it to your next appointment for your doctor to complete.

What To Expect During Your Appointment

During your first visit, we take a detailed history and do a physical exam. If necessary, we may order tests to learn more about your health.

Once we have all the information we need, our pain specialists talk with you about your treatment options and develop a plan to move forward.

We offer a variety of treatments for pain management at Winchester Hospital. The evidence-based medicine we use is proven to help people living with pain. These include injection-based therapies, physical therapy and treatments such as acupuncture, offered in collaboration with integrative therapy. If conservative treatments don’t provide relief, we may suggest surgery

Within 48 hours of your visit, we provide detailed consultation notes for your referring doctor. This ensures they are involved in every step of your treatment plan and progress.
