About Our Cancer Support Group
Our ongoing cancer support group meets twice a month. They are led by a licensed, independent, clinical social worker.
Support groups are open to Winchester patients at our Center for Cancer Care who are newly diagnosed, currently in treatment, or have completed treatment, as well as patients with a cancer recurrence. You must pre-register.
This program connects Winchester oncology patients living with cancer to other survivors to discuss experiences, struggles and triumphs. Group members create bonds with others who know what it’s like to be diagnosed with cancer.
Make plans to join us. Our support groups focus on learning to cope with the stress of your diagnosis and the treatment process, while trying hard not to let this disease take over your life.
